Junior Wildlife Ranger Earth Day Festival 2021

Saturday, April 24, 2021 - 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Online Event

Celebrate Earth Day with Junior Wildlife Ranger and special guest Obi Kaufmann at our all-ages festival.

Step 1: Submit artwork by April 16th!

Acclaimed artist-adventurer Obi Kaufmann, author of the California Field Atlas, will compile submissions into a single piece illustrating California’s biodiversity.

Send us a scan or photo of your child's California nature-inspired artwork (or your own):

Step 2: Join us on April 24th and earn your badge!

At this live Zoom event, Obi will unveil his artwork made from community submissions and take us on a tour of California’s ecosystems. Then, Junior Wildlife Ranger in-house environmental educator Gila Juarez will lead us in hands-on activities from our new Neighborhood Badge program.

You’ll receive a special digital Earth Day badge and a physical badge mailed after the event!

Come to see a master ecological artist connect your artwork to a larger whole and experience firsthand how Junior Wildlife Ranger helps kids forge a personal connection with nature.

Whether you’re new to Junior Wildlife Ranger, a longtime member of our community, or anywhere in between, we hope to see you there!
