Snowbird Stroll

Date:
Saturday, November 2, 2019 - 9:00am to 10:30am
Venue:
Environmental Education Center, Alviso

Join Ranger Hope, and fellow snowbirds, for a stroll through the Salt Marsh, Pond, and Slough looking for migratory birds!

The snowbirds are arriving to enjoy the lovely moderate climate we have in San Francisco Bay! This is a great time to see many new birds arriving at the Refuge – from tiny sandpipers to large geese!

We will taste Pickleweed, learn about our resident endangered species, and enjoy the morning breeze! We have binoculars and guides for everyone to barrow.

Great for all ages and experience levels. Hike is on flat terrain and is just under 1 mile. Trail is accessible.
